Aluminum is widely used in lithography because of its light weight, excellent mechanical strength, surface treatment and corrosion resistance. The aluminum plate used for lithographic printing is a thin plate with a thickness of 0.1~0.3mm, containing JIS1050 pure aluminum (aluminum purity not less than 99.5%) and JIS1100 aluminum (containing 0.05~0.2% copper). These aluminum plates are usually mechanically, chemically or electrochemically grinded, then coated with a layer of photosensitive material, and then exposed and developed to make printing plates.

After the above treatment, the printing plate is then installed on the pressure roller, and ink is applied to the image area coated with fountain solution, and then the ink is transferred to the blanket cylinder for imaging, and then printed on the paper. The printing life of this printing plate can reach 30,000 sheets. Its roughened surface enhances the adhesion of photosensitive materials and water retention during printing and further tone reproduction. These characteristics are indispensable for the aluminum plate to function as a printing plate. Claim. In order to increase the printing life, the aluminum plate needs to be anodized after the grinding process to form an anodized film with a thickness of about 1~3 μm, and then coated with photosensitive material, and then exposed and developed to prepare for printing board.

The printing life of the anodized printing plate can reach about 70,000~150,000 sheets.

The above-mentioned aluminum plates used for printing must have the following characteristics:
