3004 Aluminum Foil advantages as honeycomb core materials
The aluminum honeycomb core is constructed by gluing together multiple layers of aluminum foil, then unfolding them into a regular honeycomb pattern. The aluminum foil used is 3004 aluminum foil in H18/H19 condition, with a thickness of 0.02-0.06mm. The honeycomb side lengths are available in 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm.
3004 aluminum foil is a commonly used alloy from the Al-Mn series, offering excellent rust resistance and approximately 10% higher strength than 1100 aluminum foil. It also offers excellent formability, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Using 3004-H18 aluminum foil as the base material for the honeycomb core is significantly stronger than 1100 aluminum foil, resulting in a highly resistant product with no deformation, burr-free edges, and a highly flat surface after gluing and laminating.
3004 Aluminum Foil Performance Advantages
1. Lightweight, excellent corrosion resistance, and strong rust prevention;
2. Excellent oxidation resistance, sound insulation, and deformation resistance;
3. High strength, excellent impact resistance, waterproof, moisture-proof, and heat-insulating.
